Dr. Jie Liu is a certified periodontal and implant dentistry specialist and is licensed both as a general dentist and as a Periodontist.

Dr. Liu received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003. She later went through advanced training in Endodontics & Oral Medicine and practiced as an Endodontist before she moved to the United States. Dr. Liu later completed a three-year residency in Periodontics, Implant Dentistry & Stomatology in Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A & M University. During her time at Baylor, she was one of the few recipients for the Bettye M. Whitaker Scholarship and had served as the chief resident in the Periodontal Department and a clinical instructor for the dental (DDS) and hygienist students. Dr. Liu 's clinical experience extended further through her quarterly shift in Children's Medical Center Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children where she participated in diagnosing  and treating severely compromised children with periodontal and surgical needs in the OR setting.

Dr. Liu also had extensive training in Oral and Intravenous Sedation during her three-year residency as well as through a two-month  rigorous rotation in the Department of Anesthesiology in Baylor University Medical Center.

Dr. Liu has authored and co-authored numerous publications that have appeared in dental and medical journals. She got her Ph.D. Degree In Oral Biology from the Ohio State University. Her award-winning research findings enable her to have a sophisticated understanding of wound healing and tissue regeneration.

Dr. Ming Sun is a certified restorative and cosmetic dentistry specialist and is licensed both as a general dentist and as a Prosthodontist.

 

Dr. Sun dedicated to providing premium dental care ever since he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. Dr. Sun also completed a three-year residency training in Prosthodontics and obtained the specialty certificate in Prosthodontics and MSD (Masters of Science in Dentistry) from Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUPUI). During his time in IUPUI, he won the Carl J and Ida A. Andres Scholarship Award and the I. Lester Furnas Graduate Prosthodontics Award. He had served as the chief resident in the Prosthodontic Department and a clinical instructors for the dental (DDS) students.

Dr. Sun has authored and co-authored numerous publications that have appeared in dental and medical journals. He received the German DAAD scholarship. He conducted his doctorate research on bone regeneration and bone remodeling in the Department of Orthodontics, Dental School, University of Bonn, Germany.
